At E+M, we use a team approach in our process by matching a project manager with the client based on project manager’s location and experience with the desired structure type.
Once the design team is established, we begin our initial fact finding process to identify any design concerns early in the project.
E+M then creates a written narrative of the basic project including general materials and a broad overview of the plan.
For Design Development, E+M creates a more detailed design by laying out the actual structure, deciding coordinates, and identifying potential areas of complication in the design.
After design development has been thought through, a fully detailed project plan is crafted and distributed to the construction crew.
The Construction Administration phases involves review of submittals, answering RFI (Request For Information) or field questions, and performing site visits to track project progression.
