This month Ellinwood + Machado celebrates 10 years of business.

What started with Brad and Rafael working on a folding table out of their homes has grown into 35 employees over 3 offices and still growing!

EM Structural would like to thank all of the clients; past, present, and future for all the continued support that has helped us grow to where we are now.

EM Structural would also like to thank the employees without whom we would not be able to accomplish everything that has been done in the past decade. We look forward to the future and many more years to come!

Star Metals Residences Construction Update

Check out these pictures of the Star Metals Residences construction progress from a recent site visit!

Star Metals Residences is a 10 story cold formed steel multi family project in West Midtown Atlanta. The EcoSpan composite steel joist system is used for the floor framing bearing on cold formed steel walls, all above a single level of concrete podium.

Market 42 Going Vertical!

EM Structural’s Market 42 project in Charlotte, North Carolina has started going vertical! Getting the structure out of the ground is a big milestone in the construction process. Check out a few pictures from a recent site visit:

Market 42 is a mixed use project in the heart of Charlotte’s First Ward District. This two-phase project consists of 549 apartments between a 33-story, 375 tall concrete framed high rise and a six-story mid-rise which will be timber framing over a concrete podium. There will be approximately 20,000 square feet of retail and a precast parking garage as well.

Crescent Montford Park Progressing in the Snow!

Check out these construction pictures for our Crescent Montford Park project in Charlotte, North Carolina.

EM Structural is was still working hard doing site inspections during the snow to help make sure this project stays on schedule!

The Montford Park project is a 337 unit mixed use building with 17,000 square feet of retail under a post tensioned concrete podium with timber framed apartment units above.

Check out some recent construction photos for our Bainbridge Southend Apartment project in Charlotte, NC!

Bainbridge Southend is a seven story building with 5 levels of Type III timber construction over 2 levels of cast in place post tensioned concrete parking and retail. This 200 unit building is located on South Boulevard and directly adjacent to the Lynx Blue Light Rail line. This project features an elevated pool deck, roof terrace, and town home units in addition to the apartment units. Construction is expected to be complete in the summer of 2018!
