A huge congratulations to the Willard Street Apartment project team as they are the winners of the 2022 Triangle CREW’s Community Enhancement award! 

As the state’s first transit-oriented affordable housing project, this 6-story, mixed-use development features 82 units and 5,000 SF of commercial space. 75% of units have been set aside for those with household incomes 60% or below Durham’s average. Among other amenities, the development includes Local Start Dental, a nonprofit that provides dental services to low-income residents, a picnic shelter, a playground, a fitness center, a kitchen, and laundry facilities.
