We are thrilled to announce that EM Structural has been awarded the Excellence in Structural Engineering Award for New Construction in the $50-100M category. We were honored with this award during this year’s Structural Engineering Association of North Carolina Conference.
This award was given to EM Structural in recognition of our work on the 300 E. 36th Street Project, which was a collaboration with BB+M Architecture, Brasfield and Gorrie, and Avery Hall.
This 8-story multifamily development includes 294 modern apartments and approximately 6,800 square feet of ground-floor retail space. The 300 E. 36th Street location also has access to an urban plaza and three parking levels with space for 325 vehicles.
The 2.25-acre site is in a qualified opportunity zone. It is conveniently located directly adjacent to the 36th Street Lynx Blue Line train station in the heart of the NoDa Neighborhood of Charlotte. This project offers easy access to a vibrant arts and entertainment community while simultaneously being close to the Cross Charlotte Trail, a 26-mile greenway, making it the ideal location for residents and visitors alike.
EM Structural is incredibly proud of this achievement, and it would not have been possible without the tireless work, dedication, and expertise of our entire project team. To learn more about our current and past projects, please visit: Structural Engineering Projects – EM Structural.
