This project consists of structural engineering services related to additions and renovations of the existing Simons Center at the College of Charleston. Phase I included structural assessment, seismic review, and structural evaluation. Phase II includes complete design of renovation and additions.
The project includes complete interior renovations and 3 new additions including a classroom addition, 3-story addition with a new central energy plant, and a new black box theatre with a new entry lobby. Structural systems include pile foundations, steel framing, and cross bracing.
This project was completed as 4SE, Inc., prior to joining EM Structural in 2021.
