The Davis Park Apartment project located in the Research Triangle Park in Durham, North Carolina consists of 329 residential units over 7 buildings ranging from 3-5 stories of Type V wood framed construction.
The main building is a 4/5 story split with a two-story tall post-tensioned concrete podium frame system with clubhouse and fitness below. Retaining walls were also needed for basement level units. The additional buildings are 3 story garden style structures. The buildings sit on post-tensioned slabs on grade with shallow concrete spread footings for the podium area.
