Element Barclay West

Element Barclay West is a garden style apartment project located in Wilmington, North Carolina.  There are two building types, each 3 story breezeway style, and a stand alone clubhouse.   Framing was Type V timber platform construction and structural sheathing shear walls were used for lateral resistance due to the high design wind speeds in Wilmington.  Foundations consist of post tensioned slab on grades with a standard turn down.
