This five-story residential structure is located Uptown Charlotte, NC.
The project consists of five stories of type III residential construction wrapped around four sides of a four-story precast parking garage.
The residential portion of the project is wood-framing with isolated areas being framed with either elevated post-tensioned concrete podium slabs or structural steel/engineered lumber transfer framing. The foundation system consists of shallow spread footings and thickened slab on grade elements bearing on native soils and engineered fill material.
