This project consists of a new 40,000 SF community center completed in 2005, and a 35,000 SF addition completed in 2017.
The first community center has 2 high bay gyms that are back to back, roof supported, with an elevated indoor walking track, community meeting rooms, classrooms, a fitness center, and administrative offices for the Goose Creek Recreation Department.
The 2017 addition includes a large acrobatics space, workout rooms, meeting rooms, and conference rooms. The structure has a high bay central corridor and structural steel frame construction with brick veneer, a slab on the grade floor, and a conventional spread footing foundation.
