Inspire Southpark

This six-story residential apartment structure has 359 units and over 760,000 SF of gross area. It is located in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, North Carolina.  

Two levels of parking, leasing office, and residential liner units are below a 150,000+ SF post-tensioned podium slab at level 2. Above level 2 is four stories of type V wood-framed construction with additional post-tensioned slabs to support unit framing above the amenity spaces. There are two large separate courtyard areas with walkthrough and elevated pool at the level 2 podium slab. The structure consists of concrete columns with two-way flat PT slabs acting together as ordinary moment frames for lateral stability. The structure is supported on shallow spread footings bearing on soil improved by rammed aggregate piers.
