The Watt Family Innovation Center is Clemson’s most technology-enhanced academic building, featuring state-of-the-art information technology and special facilities. Located behind the R. M. Cooper Library, this new 4-story, 90,000 SF building is a flexible space for collaboration, innovation and project development for students and faculty.
The Watt Family Innovation Center offers state-of-the-art advanced technology and interactive learning systems, a rooftop terrace, an auditorium, studios, various gathering and support spaces, learning rooms and classrooms, and lab spaces. Interactive video screens are on every floor, which feature adjustable walls that can be easily moved or removed to modify teaching and meeting spaces. The exterior of the building features the largest media mesh grid in the country – essentially a two-story video screen that can be programmed to display graphics, animation and live video.
