This 11-story multifamily residential development is in the “Gulch” neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee, near the intersection of 8th Avenue and Division Street.
The ground level has approximately eight residential units. The remainder of the level is composed of leasing and club room spaces, as well as parking garage. Levels 1-8 include both residential units and parking. There are some 2-story residential units at levels 7 and 8. Level 9 includes a very large outdoor courtyard area located over the footprint of the parking deck. This area includes the swimming pool and various outdoor communal areas. Level 9 also includes residential units. Level 10 is residential units only.
Multiple structural systems were employed in the design of this project, including post-tensioned flat-plate slabs, post-tensioned beams and girders, concrete columns, and concrete bearing walls. The foundation for the structure consists of shallow spread footings bearing on rock.
