This 6 story residential apartment structure (359 units, 760,000+ sf of gross area) will be located in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC.

Two levels of parking, leasing office, and residential liner units are below a 150,000+ sf post-tensioned podium slab at Level 2. Above Level 2 is four stories of Type V wood framed construction with additional post-tensioned slabs to support unit framing above the amenity spaces. There are two large separate courtyard areas with walkthrough and elevated pool at the Level 2 podium slab. The structure consists of concrete columns with two-way flat PT slabs acting together as ordinary moment frames for lateral stability.  The structure is supported on shallow spread footings bearing on soil improved by rammed aggregate piers.
